The Craftivist Skill-Share
The Craftivist Skill-Share is a WPIRG action group (https://wpirg.org/). We use crafting as a neutral medium to spark conversations about feminism, activism, and creating change. Working within an intersectional framework and using a collective model for our action group are two important aspects of our mandate. Basically, we teach and share crafting ideas and knowledge with each other to ensure crafting traditions don't disappear (with the women who carried the traditions on originally). We love yarn bombing, radical cross stitch, and other forms of community outreach.
